Week of Prayer
A Happy New Year to you all!
As the New Year begins, and following the high points of our Christmas and Watchnight services, I am looking forward to gathering the church to pray. Our Week of Prayer starts on Sunday evening 8th January, from 7 – 8 pm at the Catford site. We will then meet at Catford at the same time each evening throughout the week, apart from Thursday evening when we will gather at our sites. Our final evening will be on Friday 13th January at Catford. Once again, many of us will be committing to fasting in some form. I always find this a really helpful way to focus my attention on God’s presence, and I plan to do a partial fast for the week. You will find some useful tips about fasting, as well as all the information about the week of prayer, here.
Whether you are able to come along every evening, a couple of evenings or maybe just one, we’d love to see you there. Let’s start 2023 strong by coming together to seek God and worship Him.
