The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course runs over seven sessions and helps couples invest in their marriage. Each session begins with sharing a two-course meal as a couple, followed by some fun, insightful video content covering topics that are relevant for every couple like 'Resolving Conflict' or 'Good Sex'.
The course helps couples build strong foundations, communicate effectively, and resolve differences, offering practical tools to help couples invest in their marriage so that it lasts a lifetime.
Although the Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for all couples, with or without a church background. After watching the session videos, couples have time for private discussion. Couples are never asked to share anything about their relationship with anyone else.
The course starts on Thursday 7 May at the Catford site.
£80 per couple including a two-course meal each evening and course materials.
If you are have any queries or need help with the cost of the course, please email us or contact the church office (020 8690 4646).

Vision 2030 Gift Days
Vision 2030 Gift Days – 10 & 17 May
In October, we launched Investing in Our Future Together, a three-year pledge for everyone at King's to participate in the next stage of Vision 2030. As we step into this new chapter, we have an opportunity to give with faith and generosity to build for the generations to come. Together, we are continuing our vision to Reach, Restore and Resource.
Our Vision 2030 Gift Days on 10 & 17 May are an opportunity for us, together as a church, to respond and raise an additional £100,000 to help us reach our faith target of £3.1 million for this year.
How can I play my part?
If you have already made a pledge to give towards this moment, please come ready to bring your gift.
If you have not yet pledged, this is an opportunity to make a pledge and/or bring a gift.
We would love to see each person that calls King's their home to play their part and contribute towards investing in our future together.
Looking ahead, our next Vision 2030 Gift Days will take place in October.
Thank you for your ongoing generosity.

Marriage Seminar
What is God's vision for sex in a Christian marriage? How can we sustain a great love life over the decades? What is permissible in Christian marriage? How can we make it easier to talk about sexual intimacy as a couple? Why is my spouse so different to me when it comes to our love life?
If you are married, and if you've asked yourself any of these questions and others, then this seminar is for you. It will be hosted by Steve and Deb Tibbert, who have been married for 35 years and have many years' experience pastoring couples and teaching about Christian marriage. Over the course of the morning they will talk about God's wonderful intention for sex in marriage, how we can understand and work through our differences, and how, contrary to what the world would say, sex in marriage can continue to be a source of mutual joy and intimacy over the long term.
The seminar is for married couples only, so please add your spouse below when signing up. There will be opportunities to discuss topics as a couple, but there will be no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else. The seminar is free, but it would be helpful to know if you are planning to attend. Please note that there will be no crèche or childcare provided.
If the event is full please email us at info@kingschurchlondon.org and we will add you to our waiting list.

THINK Conference 2026 - Luke
If we could only take one book of the Bible to a desert island with us, many of us would choose the Gospel of Luke.
It is the longest and fullest Gospel we have. The two most celebrated of Jesus's parables are found here and nowhere else. Luke fills his nativity, crucifixion and resurrection accounts with details that are unique to him—Mary and Elizabeth, Pilate and Herod, the road to Emmaus—and his interest in prayer, women, the poor and the Gentiles give even the most familiar passages a distinctive angle. It is theologically rich, narratively compelling, rhetorically masterful and evangelically joyful, as well as being filled with interesting questions and challenging stories.
So from 7th to 9th July 2026, we are going to devote some time to reading, understanding and rejoicing in it. We are delighted to be joined by Dr Peter Williams, the Principal of Tyndale House, Cambridge, as our guest speaker. Peter is both a brilliant biblical scholar and a sparkling and engaging communicator, and I can honestly think of nobody in the world I would rather have teaching on the Gospel of Luke. He is also the author of The Surprising Genius of Jesus (2023), a superb study of the teaching of Jesus in particular, and the outstanding Can We Trust the Gospels? (2018), which has been translated into fourteen languages.
The conference will comprise plenary sessions, breakout discussions, meals together, rich times of corporate worship, and time for Q&A. Practically speaking, we will be hosting it at King's Church London, SE3 9DU, starting at 3.30pm on Tuesday 7th and finishing at lunchtime on Thursday 9th; the cost for the event is £170, which includes lunch and dinner on both days.
What's not to like? One of the greatest books ever written, taught by a world-class scholar and surrounded by brothers and sisters who want to know, apply and delight in God's word. So come. Take time. Be refreshed. Think.
