Vision Sunday 2023
This week, I have two important dates for you.
Firstly, I’m really looking forward to speaking at our Vision Sunday this week, 24th September, across all sites. Vision Sunday is an opportunity for us to remind ourselves of what we believe God has called us to as a church, to reflect on what has happened over the last church year, and to look ahead to some of our hopes and goals for the next 12 months. This has been a great year of rebuilding and strengthening after the challenge of Covid and lockdown, and we have much to give thanks for as a community. I also want to take the opportunity to share some news which I hope will encourage us to keep moving towards our vision to Reach, Restore and Resource. Vision Sunday is definitely one not to miss, and I hope to see you there.
Secondly, I’d like to remind you that Tuesday 26th September (7.45pm at the Catford building) is our Vision Night, when we will be updating you on how the giving has gone in the last financial year and sharing what we believe we should aim for in the coming year. Vision Night is for anyone who calls King’s home.
