Week of Prayer
I’m back this week after a few weeks off over Christmas – perhaps not the break Deb and I had originally hoped for, but a restful and enjoyable time for us nonetheless.
We enter 2021 with our nation facing another sharp rise in Covid cases. This is why we have taken the decision not to hold in-person services for the time being (I say more about this in the video below). In our online service this week, we will be hearing from a member of King’s who works in the NHS about the challenges they and their colleagues are facing. Let’s keep praying for all those we know who are serving us in healthcare and other frontline services.
I want to encourage all of you to join us for our Week of Prayer, which starts on Sunday 17th January at 7pm. This is certainly a difficult season for our nation, but what better time to come together, to stand in the gap and call out to God. We may be gathering on Zoom, rather than in our buildings, but God still hears us!
All the details you need will be available on the website. So let’s gather from Sunday, each day, to worship and pray.
