The Way
"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." — Mark 8:34
Introduction
In the New Testament, Christianity was often known as “the Way”. Disciples were people who learned the Way, followed it, and proclaimed it to others. In this series we will learn the way of Jesus, hearing his parables and conversations, watching his healings and miracles, and seeing him prepare to save the world.
But we also want to draw out the kind of community he calls us to be: repentant, merciful, diverse, evangelistic, compassionate, biblical, and so forth.
