Spirit Filled Church
‘But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son … that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls, “Abba, Father.”’ Galatians 4:4-6
I do hope you’ve enjoyed the Spirit Filled teaching series. It has been fantastic to see the church so open to God, with many people responding week after week to be prayed with, to be filled with the Spirit, to speak in tongues and to prophesy. It is wonderful to see the hunger in the church to be spiritually alive in God and to encounter Him. I’ve also been greatly encouraged by the powerful times of worship, and I want to thank you all for your participation and your desire to follow God.The Spirit Filled series has prepared us well for our 21 Days of Prayer in January, when we will have more time to wait on God, to be filled with His Spirit and to be empowered to do all that He has called us to as a church.
Before then, we look forward to Christmas and the joy of coming together to celebrate the coming of His Son, Jesus the Messiah. Our first weekend of carol services is now just over a week away, and I do encourage you to come along and bring your friends and family.
