Partnering for the Gospel

Last week, Deb and I had the joy of attending the Global 19 conference. It was an excellent few days, with about 90 apostolic leaders from within the international Newfrontiers family gathering to worship, pray and learn together. It is always a joy to spend time with this group of Gospel partners, many of them ministering in challenging circumstances, and we thank God for the friendships we have built here over the years. I had the privilege of hosting some of the sessions, including a helpful round-table discussion about the different apostolic models within our fellowship.

On Tuesday this week, I joined our King’s team at the European Learning Community hosted by Dave Smith who leads the excellent Kingsgate Community Church in Peterborough. This is a great event, which gathers church teams from about 70 churches for a couple of days. We have been attending for several years now, and always find them stimulating and helpful.

It’s certainly been a varied few weeks, and on Monday and Tuesday next week we have the privilege of joining Nicky and Pippa Gumbel at Lambeth Palace for the Richmond Group, which brings together leaders from many different church streams in the UK.

In the space of just two weeks we will have enjoyed fellowship with many leaders, both from within our family of churches and the wider body of Christ. We are very grateful to God for these dear friends and partners in the Gospel.
