Transformed - Week Seven

This is the final week of our Transformed daily devotionals. There are some suggestions for prayer for the week and a Bible verse for each day for meditation and further study.

As you read, you may want to keep a simple journal of God’s word to you. A helpful way of doing this may be to consider the following points each time:

• What did you hear?
• What do you think?
• What will you do?
• Now talk to God…

Visit kingschurchlondon.org/transformed for additional teaching by Rick Warren, recordings of the Sunday messages, the testimony videos, the family devotionals.

If you have enjoyed this series, we would love to hear what God has done/is doing in your life. Please share with your Group Leader or one of the Pastors, or email info@kingschurchlondon.org.

WEEK 7
TRANSFORMED IN MY VOCATIONAL HEALTH

This Week...Talk To God – POINTS FOR PRAYER
• Praise God for the way He has made you and that He has given you gifts and talents to be used for His glory.
• Ask God to direct your path each day and to give you wisdom and integrity in all that you do.
• Pray for those in government – of our country and throughout the world – that His wisdom and integrity will prevail and that godly decisions will be taken.

Day 43 – Sunday 20th March
Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 (NLT)

Day 44 – Monday 21st March
But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.
Deuteronomy 8:18a (NIV)

Day 45 – Tuesday 22nd March
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct
your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

Day 46 – Wednesday 23rd March
For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
Proverbs 2:6-7(NLT)

Day 47 – Thursday 24th March
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
Proverbs 15:22 (NIV)

Day 48 – Friday 25th March
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
James 1:2-3 (NIV)

Day 49 – Saturday 26th March
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)

Please think and pray about who you could invite to our Easter services next weekend or next term’s Alpha.

WEEK 6
TRANSFORMED IN MY FINANCIAL HEALTH

This Week...Talk To God – POINTS FOR PRAYER
• Thank God that He is the generous provider of all our needs.
• Pray that God will help you to give towards His Kingdom with a generous and cheerful heart.
• Pray that He will show you how to be generous towards others this week.

Please remember – We recognise that personal circumstances will affect how you are able to give. If it is a difficult time for you financially, please don’t ever feel under any obligation – we believe you should only give out of what you have. Feel free to ask for prayer on a Sunday or in your group, or to talk to a leader if you are struggling financially or with debt.

Day 36 – Sunday 13th March
He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)

Day 37 – Monday 14th March
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:31-33 (NIV)

Day 38 – Tuesday 15th March
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

Day 39 – Wednesday 16th March
Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10 (NIV)

Day 40 – Thursday 17th March
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

Day 41 – Friday 18th March
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

Day 42 – Saturday 19th March
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Luke 6:38 (NIV)

Please start thinking and praying about who you could invite to our Easter services or next term’s Alpha.
